traditional handpoke tattoo ceremony

blessed and honored to walk this road with you, i only practice the traditional Indigenous method of handpoke tattoo, machine-free markings. medicine is held in this work. my heart is deeply connected with markings, as they are how we recognize our relatives, and how we find each other in the afterlife. facial markings have been heavily politicized, in this way we reclaim the beauty in our practice, remove the fear of colonial prejudice and take back what has always belonged. as we take on this journey of walking in ceremony we are keeping our traditional alive.

i am currently tattooing in Lenapehoking, so called “new york city”

Get In Touch

If you feel called to hold space in ceremony with me, leave your info here and ill reach out as soon as i can. <3

note: this ancestral practice can take a little more time than machine tattoo, as each poke is by hand, a deep meditative process of remembrance.

i only use black ink, stainless steel needles are most common but i sometimes use natural material and ink (cactus spine, agave needle, etc) when available

please arrive with no time restrictions for the day as i never rush, as we are in prayer and actively trying to revert to slowing down, and straying away from instant-gratification practices.
